Durbin Plumbing Privacy Policy
This policy explains, in plain words, what Durbin Plumbing, Inc. does with the information you send us through the service request form on durbinplumbing.com. The short version: we use it only to answer your plumbing request in Louisville and Jefferson County, and we never sell it.

What the form collects
Our service request form, on the contact page and on other pages of this site, asks for seven things: your name, phone number, street address, ZIP code, a description of what is going on, whether it is urgent, and, if you choose, your email address. Name, phone, address, ZIP and the description are required. Email is optional.
We ask for your address and ZIP code so we know where the job is and can plan the visit. We ask what is going on and whether it is urgent so Doug Durbin knows what to expect and Tina can fit you into the schedule.
How we use it
We use your information for one purpose: to respond to your request. That means calling or texting you back, scheduling a visit, giving you a quote, and doing the work you ask for. You can always get in touch with Tina or Doug, the owners, about anything you sent us.
The form sends your details to our business email, workorders@durbinplumbing.com, and sends Doug and Tina a text message so they can call you back. Along the way, your details pass through a few companies that work for us:
- The company that builds and runs our website keeps a copy of each request in its system, so a request is never lost if an email goes astray. It uses that copy only to deliver requests to us and keep the form working.
- An email delivery service sends the request to our inbox, and a text message service sends the alert to Doug’s and Tina’s phones.
- Our email provider holds the message in our inbox.
They handle your details only to deliver your request to us.
What we do not do
We do not sell your information. We do not rent it, trade it or give it to other companies for their marketing. We do not add you to a mailing list because you sent the form.
If your job is covered by a home warranty, we may talk with your warranty company about that job so it can be approved and paid. We only share what that job needs.
Site statistics and cookies
On www.durbinplumbing.com we use Google Analytics to count visits: which pages people read, roughly where they are browsing from, and whether someone sent the form or tapped our phone number. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this. It does not receive what you type into the form. Google describes how it uses this information in its privacy policy, and you can turn off Google Analytics in your browser with Google’s opt-out add-on.
Maps on this site
Some pages show a Google map. When a map loads, Google receives the usual details any website gets from your browser, such as your IP address, and may set its own cookies, under Google’s privacy policy.
How long we keep it
We keep your request and job details as part of our customer records, so we know the history of your plumbing if you call us again. If you want us to delete your information, email us and we will do it unless we need to keep a record of work we did for tax or legal reasons.

We usually answer the phone live. We will take great care of you, whether you are calling about a water heater or about this policy.
