Durbin Plumbing does residential and commercial plumbing service, installation and repair in Louisville and across Jefferson County, Kentucky. We repair and replace water heaters, toilets, faucets and sump pumps, test backflow devices for businesses, fix leaking pipes and clear sink, tub and shower drains. Doug and Tina Durbin have run the company since 2000.
Water heaters, toilets and backflow testing
We love water heaters! We repair and replace tank water heaters, gas and electric, from Rheem, Ruud, A.O. Smith, Bradford White and other brands. When we install your new water heater, we will give you a $100 Amazon gift card, or a gift card of your choice. Kentucky requires a permit and inspection on every water heater replacement, and the permit goes to a licensed master plumber, like Doug Durbin, or to a homeowner doing the work personally. We replace old toilets. The EPA says older toilets can use as much as 6 gallons a flush. A WaterSense model uses 1.28 gallons or less, so a new one saves water every day. Faucets, sump pumps, leaks and drains
We live in an older part of Louisville ourselves, and our office is in 40205. Doug is very knowledgeable about fixing the old faucets in houses like ours. We repair, replace and install faucets, including Delta and Moen. See faucet repair and replacement.

Doug gives you the price on site, after he sees the job. The price depends on the type of work, the size of the fixture or unit, how easy it is to reach, and whether a state permit is needed.
